From the moment I started working, as a literal 15 year old, I was amazed by what women could build entrepreneurially – and I still am.
And in 2013, I started working… for me.
I’ll spare you all the gorey details, but eleven years later, now we’re HERE.

I started a business because for me,
Independence isn’t optional.
When I say that I abandoned my plans for that doctorate because I wanted to do my own thing… that’s only half true. I did want to do my own thing – but a major contributing factor for me, was the fact that I’m diagnosed with a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. It causes a metric fuck-ton of problems, but among them are things like waking up with dislocated ribs, surprise hip dislocations, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and brain fog. And that doesn’t even approach touching on the other co-morbid shit that it causes.
The more mornings I woke up physically unable to get out of bed, the more it sank in for me that if I had to rely on a traditional, 9-5 work schedule, with a boss, and no control over my time… whether I went into academia or not I was still going to quickly end up in deep shit. Either, deep shit from the consequences of pushing my body too hard, or deep shit with my imaginary boss for respecting my limitations, and calling in sick when I needed it (read as: multiple days a week, most weeks).
So I built a brand and a business that supports my ability to control my time, independent of office hours or corporate bullshit. And… I help other women do the same. When we’re building you an aligned brand, what we’re really doing is helping you break that cycle. We’re helping you establish yourself as an expert. We’re helping you reach the people who *need* what you do. We’re helping you work smarter. That way, you too can do what you love, from wherever you want, whenever you want (whether that’s in bed with ice on your knee, or in a café sipping a caramel latte.)
